H.E. Aissatou Sophie Gladima holds a doctorate in hydrogeology, applied geophysics, and hydrochemistry. A professor at the Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, she was the former Minister of Mines and Geology in Senegal and now serves as the Minister of Petroleum and Energy.
