Dr. Jovita Nsoh [‘Soh] has over 25 years of progressive experience executing key technology strategies and leading large, distributed cross-functional teams using agile software development methodologies. In addition, Dr. Nsoh has a deep understanding and technical expertise in complex technology deployments, digital transformation, and technology insights for various industries, emphasizing the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity issues related to critical infrastructures such as energy, water, autonomous systems, and the intelligent supply chain. His current research interests include security for emerging trends and technologies such as Industrie 4.0/5.0, 5G, Internet of Things (IoT), neural networks, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Dr. Nsoh holds an LLB (Hon) from the University of Yaounde, Cameroon, an MBA in international business and finance from Eastern Michigan University (EMU), a Masters from Reutlingen University of Applied Sciences, Germany, and a post-graduate cybersecurity diploma from MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. In addition, Dr. Nsoh earned a Doctoral Degree in Computer Science concentrating on Cybersecurity and Information Assurance at Colorado Technical University (CTU).

Dr. Nsoh is currently the Director of Risk Intelligence and Compliance at Microsoft’s Cyber Defense and Industrial network team, where he focuses on protecting Microsoft’s critical OT infrastructure. Dr. Nsoh is also an adjunct professor at the University of Houston’s College of Technology.

Dr. Nsoh holds the EC-Council Certified Information Security Officer (CCISO) Certification, a Board-Certified Information Technology Architect Professional (CITA-P), Microsoft Certified Azure IoT Developer, Microsoft Certified Architect (MCA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect, Agile Scrum Master and more.

Finally, Dr. Nsoh is the Secretary-General of the Cameroon Society of Engineers (CSE), sits on the Board of Advisors for the Africa Energy Chamber (AEC), is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), InfraGard, The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), and The International Society of Automation (ISA).
