Mónica is the Senior International Client Development Manager with the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) based in Calgary, Canada.
She has over ten years of international experience in Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Latin American regions. With a recently completed MA in Higher Education Administration Leadership (Specialization International Education) she builds strong relationships with government ministries, educational institutions and local industries to identify, create and implement hands-on technical training programs.
Her background and experiences with partners such as Exxon Mobile in Houston and Angola, Naftogaz in Ukraine, Mozambique’s Lúrio University and Equatorial Guinea’s Ministry of Mines and Hydrocarbons (MMH) have resulted in partnerships towards building local capacity and workforce nationalization.
