30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in a variety of international roles. Currently General Manager for Reconnaissance Energy Namibia. Worked as offshore exploration advisor for Maurel et Prom from 2019 to 2020. From 2012 until 2019, Namibia’s Country Manager and Senior Staff Drilling Engineer for Chariot Oil and Gas Ltd. Prior to Chariot, worked for the National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (NAMCOR) as Acting Managing Director, having also held roles within the company as Engineering Manager and Development Engineer.

A member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the Association of the Advancement of Cost Engineers International and the Engineering Council of Namibia, as well as being a Lecturer at the University of Namibia for postgraduate – Petroleum Geology.

BSc and MSc degrees in Drilling and Production Engineering (Petroleum Engineering) from the Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg, Germany. Several Post grad courses at different universities across the world.
